GoogleがAndroidセキュリティーパッチ2025年2月分を案内！Pixel 6以降のスマホなどに脆弱性・不具合の修正を含むソフトウェア更新が提供開始

Googleスマホ・タブレット「Pixel」シリーズに2025年2月分のソフトウェア更新を提供開始！

Googleは4日（現地時間）、スマートフォン（スマホ）など向けプラットフォーム「Android」における月次セキュリティーパッチの2025年2月分を告示しています。また同社は合わせてこれらの2025年2月分のセキュリティーパッチを含むソフトウェア更新を「Made by Google」として「Pixel」ブランドのスマホやタブレットにおいて2025年2月分のソフトウェア更新を同日より提供開始しており、来週にかけて順次提供されるとのこと。

ソフトウェア更新はネットワーク経由によるアップデート（OTA）が配信開始されているほか、ファクトリーイメージも公開されており、対象となるタブレット「Pixel Tablet」やスマホ「Pixel 9」および「Pixel 9 Pro」、「Pixel 9 Pro XL」、「Pixel 9 Pro Fold」、「Pixel Fold」、「Pixel 8a」、「Pixel 8」、「Pixel 8 Pro」、「Pixel 7a」、「Pixel 7」、「Pixel 7 Pro」、「Pixel 6a」、「Pixel 6」、「Pixel 6 Pro」では無料で実施できます。

更新後のビルド番号はT-MobileのPixel 9シリーズとTelstraのPixel 7以降、EMEA（欧州および中東、アフリカ）におけるPixel 6シリーズではブランチしており、T-MobileのPixel 9シリーズは「AP4A.250205.002.C1」、TelstraのPixel 7以降は「AP4A.250205.002.B2」、EMEAのPixel 6シリーズは「AP4A.250205.002.A1」、それ以外の日本を含むグローバルでは各機種ともに「AP4A.250205.002」とのこと。

なお、このソフトウェア更新にはセキュリティーパッチのほか、いくつかの機能改善と不具合修正が実施されており、対象の全機種で特定の状況下におけるAndroid Autoのオーディオ出力に関する問題を修正しているほか、Pixel 9シリーズにおいて特定のBluetooth機器との接続が時々妨げられる問題を修正しているということです。

Pixelシリーズにはセキュリティーパッチや不具合を修正するソフトウェア更新が毎月提供されており、2025年2月分のセキュリティーパッチはCVEに登録されている分では以下の表の通りで、Android向けではCriticalが1個、Highが45個、未分類が1個の合計38個、Pixel向けではHighが1個、Wear OS向けではHighが1個となっており、Android Automotive OS向けではCVEに登録されている脆弱性はないものの、Android向けにはない脆弱性が修正されているということです。
